Description: Winter is off to a fantastic start in Colorado. Conditions in mid November are skiing like mid-winter and the backcountry skiing could not be better! Great skiing touring off the west side of Berthoud Pass. Easy skinning and soft powder turns on the way out. Just a few rock sharks but nothing to troubling. Hoping it will be an excellent winter with plenty of more backcountry skiing.
