Today I'm up snowboarding in the Whistler terrain park and I want to share with you my biggest tips for landing 180's on you snowboard. The 180 is one of the first snowboard tricks you want to learn on your snowboard. There are a few key skills that go into 180's but the most important to me is getting a clean pop. Getting a clean pop off your snowboard will give you the time to get the 180 around, will set you up balance on your snowboard in the air and also set you up for a clean landing so you can ride the snowboard trick out clean. For more snowboard trick tutorials and tips check out the playlist at the end of the video. If you have any questions about 180's on your snowboard you can leave them in the comments. Thanks for watching!</a>

In this snowboard video we find the most trickable feature in the terrain park. Here in Whistler the terrain parks are very icy and busy, so we decided to hike the most trickable feature in the park. We managed to find a short tube with a good approach and landing. Chris and I can get a variety and snowboard tricks going on this feature. I start out with a 180 off and progress onto boardslides and 180's on and off. Hiking a trickable feature was the best thing we could have done on our snowboards on a busy and icy day like this. If you have any snowboarding trick questions please leave them in the comments. Thanks for watching!</a>

In this video I've got some tips to help you twist for board slides. The twist is one of the basic snowboard skills for getting board slides and other tricks in the park. The best place to start practicing the twist is outside of the park on the slope. By twisting on the slope you'll develop you muscle memory and be prepared for when trying it on a box in the park. If you have any questions about twisting or other snowboard tricks please leave them in the comments. Thanks for watching!</a>

In this video I've got tips to help you Indy grab on your snowboard. This snowboarding trick is the first grab you can do on a small jump. An Indy grab is basically taking your back hand and grabbing your snowboard between your binding on your toe edge. The main keys to this snowboard trick are to get a good pop off the jump, bend your knees and prepare for the landing. If you want to learn more snowboarding tricks make sure to subscribe and check out the playlist at the end. If you have any questions about Indy grabs please leave them in the comments. In this video I've got five beginner snowboard tricks you can practice on the flat ground. These five tricks will build the snowboard skills you need to progress on to more tricks. The first beginner trick is the tail press. For the tail press the key is to move your hips over your snowboard. The second beginner trick is the nose press. To help you get into the nose press try to reach your front hand down in front of your snowboard. The next two snowboard tricks are the front and backside 180. The best tip for 180's is to get a good pop into the air off of your snowboards edge. The final trick is the butter spin. For beginner snowboarders this is a great first butter because you can practice it on the flat ground. For more snowboarding trick tutorials and tips check out the playlist linked at the end. In this video I take you through the skills you'll need to progress your snowboarding from hitting boxes to trying your first rail features. You should make sure that you are comfortable hitting a wide variety of box features before trying your first rails to make the progression easier and minimize the risk of falling. You'll want to take time to figure out the proper speed for the feature, approach like a 50-50 with your trajectory aiming towards the end of the rail, and try to catch the rail with your snowboard to help lock onto the feature and slide all the way to the end. Start on larger tubes that are lower to the snow if you mountain has those available, and work your way up to skinnier features that require a larger ollie and more speed to get on to. I hope these tips help you to hit your first rail features and start a whole new curve of progression! Let me know any questions you have in the comments below, thanks for watching.</a>
