In this video I'm snowboarding in the Blackcomb terrain park and I've got a few tips to learn 2 easy snowboard tricks. The first snowboard trick is a frontside shifty on a small jump. The frontside shifty is a easy trick to learn on a small jump and you can practice it outside the park on the runs first. Another easy snowboard ticks is the backside board slide. This trick has the same movement as the front shifty and is easy because you don't have to fully commit. If you have any questions about these snowboard tricks you can leave them in the comments. Thanks for watching!

In this snowboard video we find the most trickable feature in the terrain park. Here in Whistler the terrain parks are very icy and busy, so we decided to hike the most trickable feature in the park. We managed to find a short tube with a good approach and landing. Chris and I can get a variety and snowboard tricks going on this feature. I start out with a 180 off and progress onto boardslides and 180's on and off. Hiking a trickable feature was the best thing we could have done on our snowboards on a busy and icy day like this. If you have any snowboarding trick questions please leave them in the comments. Thanks for watching!

In this video I take you through the skills you'll need to progress your snowboarding from hitting boxes to trying your first rail features. You should make sure that you are comfortable hitting a wide variety of box features before trying your first rails to make the progression easier and minimize the risk of falling. You'll want to take time to figure out the proper speed for the feature, approach like a 50-50 with your trajectory aiming towards the end of the rail, and try to catch the rail with your snowboard to help lock onto the feature and slide all the way to the end. Start on larger tubes that are lower to the snow if you mountain has those available, and work your way up to skinnier features that require a larger ollie and more speed to get on to. I hope these tips help you to hit your first rail features and start a whole new curve of progression! Let me know any questions you have in the comments below, thanks for watching.

Today we're snowboarding at Woodward Copper and working on some new tricks. The terrain park setup here is great for trying a variety of snowboard tricks. The main tricks I"m working on are front 360 off and board slides on a rail. TJ is also working on snowboard tricks on some bigger features like the 40 foot rail. In this video we share with you some of the tips that have helped us land these tricks. Thanks for watching!

Today we're snowboarding in the terrain park and working on adding tweaks, pokes and delays to our tricks. I'm working on really tweaking my mute grabs to get my snowboard sideways and back foot poked out. TJ is working on really delaying his 180 and 360's spins, and adding some delayed grabs as well. I'm also trying get creative with some tricks by doing 180's off the opposite edge. The final snowboard tricks of the day were hiking was a bonk feature where we were poking out our snowboards to get the bonk. For more snowboarding trick tips check out the playlist. Thanks for watching!

Today was also our first day rocking the Sandbox goggles and helmet together as a combo!

Today is TJ"s first day back snowboarding in Whistler. This morning we're getting our snowboard gear set up. TJ is waxing his board the Lobster Park Board and I'm putting my new Union Atlas bindings on. We did our first lap though the Whistler terrain park, where it was super icy. TJ managed to put down some stylish tricks on his snowboard. I think I know the three things TJ does to ad style to his snowboarding. Next we took the peak to peak gondola over to blackcomb mountain where we hiked to find some rough powder turns. Amazing day overall and finished with the sun setting over Whistler mountain!

In this video we're snowboarding in the Blackcomb terrain park and working on putting a line of tricks together through the park. The spring conditions are the perfect time to experiment with new snowboard tricks and try new park features. The biggest challenge of planning a line today is how busy it is in the park. Jordan Decker is riding with me today and he's an experienced snowboard coach here in Whistler. The benefit of planning and repeating your line is you can build on the tricks you try on each feature. For more tips in the terrain park check out the snowboarding trick playlist! Thanks for watching!
