In this video we are taking a closer look at a new snowboard on Ride's lineup for 2018/2019, the Ride Twinpig. The Twinpig is an evolution of the Warpig which has been around for a couple of seasons now, and brings some of those unique characteristics into a true-twin frame. The most unique thing about this snowboard is that it is a volume shifted twin, that means that it is naturally much wider and can be ridden at smaller sizes. This is going to allow you to carve more aggressively while avoiding heel and toe drag, and is going to make this snowboard a natural choice for those of you with larger boot sizes. I am also a fan of the asymmetrical sidecut that you'll find on this guy. This snowboard works really well as a freestyle friendly, do-it-all style snowboard, and it also comes in at a very reasonable price. Let me know what you think about the Twinpig down in the comments, thanks for watching.</a>

In this video I've got some tips for landing front side 360's with an Indy grab! Today we're snowboarding in the High Cascade terrain park on Mt Hood. They have some perfect medium and large jumps for practicing spins. The first tip for learning this snowboard trick is to build up to the trick slowly practicing on smaller jump and side hits first. It's also great to practice your 360's with grabs on trampolines first. For more snowboarding trick tutorials check out the snowboard trick tip playlist. Thanks for watching!

In this snowboard review video I'm riding the 2018 GNU Carbon Credit snowboard at High Cascade Snowboard Camp. The Carbon Credit is a great entry level option for someone looking to upgrade from rental gear or even for your first time snowboarding. Coming in at a friendly price point you will get a hybrid rocker profile, an asymmetrical sidecut, Magne Traction and an easy to control soft flex. These features make this snowboard very forgiving, catch free and maneuverable creating an awesome tool to help you through a large part of your progression as a snowboarder. I would recommend this snowboard to beginner riders and up. Let us know if you have any questions in the comments below, and make sure to check out the archive of snowboard reviews available on http://boardarchive.com. Thanks for watching!</a>

Today we're doing a snowboard grab session up in the High Cascade Snowboard Camp. Each of us attempted a different double snowboard grab. I went for the Rocket Air grab where you grab both hands to the nose of your snowboard. TJ went of the double tail grab and he tweaked it out with some style. Garrett got the Stiffy Grab where your grab both hands on your toe edge between the bindings and straighten your legs. Get creative with your snowboard grab tricks and let us know which is your favoite!</a>

In this snowboard review video I am testing out the 2018 YES The Greats Uninc snowboard at High Cascade Snowboard Camp. The Greats is a freestyle snowboard with an asymmetrical sidecut, this helps out with carving on your heelside edge. Featuring a camrock camber profile, bamboo pop rods, and a sintered base, this is a snowboard that is best suited in the park but is still fun for carving and exploring. I found that the rocker in the tips of the snowboard provide a playful feeling that made hitting rail features and pressing butters a little easier. The biggest highlight for me on The Greats is the asymmetrical sidecut and how much fun this board is on rails. I would recommend this snowboard to beginner riders and up. In this video I'm snowboarding in the High Cascade Snowboard Camp with TJ and Garrett. We're going to share with you the three easiest grabs you can do with snowboard spins. The grab that I find the easiest to do with spins the mute grab. Melon grabs are great with backside and cab spins because you turn for the grab in the same direction you're rotating. The grab that TJ finds easiest with spins is a melon grab. Melon is when your grab your heel edge between the bindings with your front hand. Melon is a great grab with front side spins and to stop you from over spinning backside. Garrett's easiest grab with spins is the tail grab. The tail grab is self explanatory and is great because it help your to poke your snowboard and opens your chest in the direction you're spinning.</a>

In this video we have a treat for you: we are gonna teach you how to handplant. Handplants are an advanced trick but they are also a great introduction to inverts. Doing a handplant in the halfpipe relatively safe because of limited height and using your hand to help in case you fall over.

First step to doing a handplant is finding the right terrain: a half pipe is perfect for this but if you don't have access to one you can also use any slope than goes near vert. Finding a suitable slope will really help you progress faster.

The first trick in hand plant progression is doing an alley-oop backside 180; approaching the wall on your toe edge and turning the nose up the pipe instead of down. This is a similar motion to the handplant and will get your body used the sensation.

Now we can start trying our handplants! The tricks breaks down into 4 sections:

Line: your line should be directly up the wall of the halfpipe and similarly after should be straight down. Avoid the temptation to come in at an angle as this will make the trick much harder.

Pop: probably the most important part, the pop should be creating the trick rather than the approach speed. Try to get as close to the lip as possible, when you feel yourself slowing down near to a stop its time to pop. Your upper body should be extending towards the tail of you board and the pop should be just before you put your hand down:

Hands: try as early as possible in your progression to get your hands down. When learning try using both hands for the plant until you get used to trick. Right after you pop place your hand(s) where your tail was before the pop. This will help the plant get vertical and balanced.
*if you have the right technique you do not need a lot of upper body strength to hold the trick. If you can get the right speed, pop and hand placement it will be very easy.

Look: using your upper body to finish off the trick, look you head around to the landing as early as possible. If you are having difficulty finishing this trick check how much head turn you are doing.

Have fun doing this trick, it is a great one to practice with friends, the consequence of falling is pretty low. We fell many times and no one got hurt, but make sure you use a helmet.</a>

In this snowboard review video I am riding up on Mt. Hood in Oregon and will be doing a head to head comparison of the 2018 Burton Process and Burton Custom. The boards featured in the video have the Burton Kilroy team graphics, but don't worry, they are just the same as the the standard model. The biggest differences between the snowboards are the shape design and flex. The Process is a mid flexing freestyle focused snowboard that is a true twin, while the Custom is a medium-stiff flexing, directional, all-mountain snowboard with a setback stance. One awesome feature on the Custom is that it has a twin flex, so by moving your stance forward about 1 inch from the reference stance, you can actually ride the Custom as a twin as well! In the end I found the Custom to be more aggressive and better for carving, freeriding, and jumping; and I found the Process to be better suited as an all-around freestyle snowboard that is more playful and better for rail features. Let us know any questions you have in the comments below, I hope you enjoy the video.

In this video I will be reviewing the Nobaday Reverence snowboard. This is my first day up HCSC this season and I will be riding the Reverence all day and give you guys some feedback along the way.

The Reverence is a 155cm true twin camber board. It is a park board with a 6/10 flex rating with regular sidecut and 600g of carbon in the nose and tail to help with jumping.

The conditions we icy in the morning and warmed up by the afternoon. Great conditions for carving playing around with the camber profile. It also got a serious run through the park, with all types of rail, jump and halfpipe features.
