We were back at racing at the FIM’s Hard Enduro World Championship with Round 4, Red Bull Abestone, in Tuscany. This was the second ever addition at the gnarly ski resort of Abetone and it was bound to be hard as hell with the technical rocky sections. Racing weekend started with Saturday’s Straight Rhythm qualifier and Billy Bolt was the man to secure the lead starting position for the main race. Alfredo Gomez came in P2 and Manuel Lattenbichler P3. Billy Bolt flagged away to open the track and lead the pack on Sunday. There were 30 seconds in between top starters but when it’s the hard enduro it is not a big one. Manuel Lettenbichler got passed Alfredo and Billy before the mid first lap and from then on, the German rode his pace without making any mistakes and even pushing when he felt it needed. He got his third win in a row which was beyond expectations even for him. Billy Bolt lost the contact right after Mani’s got passed him and tried to stick on the position with a sore wrist. The Brit brought the P2 Podium home safe and kept the chin up. For the third podium place the battle was fierce. After the qualifying disaster, Mario Roman had to start far behind the leading group, P13. The Spaniard however, got a good rhythm and recovered all the way up to P3. The Italian Extreme Enduro fewer continued with Rd3 Headless Rider Extreme Enduro in Teramo, 4-5 June, and the racing weekend kicked off with Prologue. The prologue format was to leave a one-hour window to get as much hot laps as riders wish to get for each classes. Sonny Goggia was the man to set the best time for Sunday’s main race within the one-hour window and here you can watch all his attempts through GoPro POV. It was Gas Gas Official’s Michael Walkner who set the 2nd fastest and Matthew Green 3rd. For the next and the last round of the Italian Extreme Enduro Championship we will go to Vigolzone, Piacenza, on 17-18 September. The Italian Extreme championship heat moved to Teramo for Round 3, Headless Rider Extreme Enduro, past weekend and it was an unreal show with all elements from fans to enthusiast competitors. On Day 2 of racing, it was Sonny Goggia who opened the track for Gold Class. He was followed by his Championship rival Michael Walkner. The two exchanged the lead during the first lap but before it ended the Austrian took the lead. Gas Gas Factory supported Michael Walkner rode a great pace without making any major mistakes and brough the victory home for himself. He continued leading the championship. Privateer and Italy’s own Sonny Goggia put a great effort but it was just not enough to clinch the victory and had to yield for the second position. It was Rigo Racing’s Matt Green who completed the podium for the Round 3. It was a crazy fun racing weekend in the heart of Torricella Sicura and we cannot recommend enough to at least Europeans to be a part of it next year. The championship heat moved to Teramo, Italy, at the Italian Extreme 2022’s for Round 3, Headless Rider Extreme Enduro by Moto Club Falchilaga, and it was a crazy fun weekend for hard enduro fans. Racing weekend started with Day 1’s prologue where all riders took single starts into the forests of Torricella Sicura with a tricky super enduro section at the start. Although the track was bone dry it still offered the extreme fun factor with tricky sections here and there. The championship consists of three classes, Bronze - Silver - Gold, and the Gold Class witnessed a real fight with a lot of talents’ presence including Michael Walkner, Sonny Goggia, Kyle Flanagan, Alessandro Azzalini and Matt Green. World of Hard Enduro made its unofficial 2022 season debut with the France’s most famous hard enduro event, 24MX Alestrem Hard Enduro. After missing it in 2021 it was time to end the longing and more than 450 riders cheered the French action. Racing weekend consisted of three different race formats and on Saturday’s final we had the Minerva Super Enduro Prologue’s final heat. Red Bull Romaniacs 2021 Time Trial Qualification action of the World Hard Enduro Championship's (WHEC) Rd4 is now behind us and Wade Young is the top rider to cover it the fastest. The action at the WHEC resumed here in Sibiu with the Time Trial Qualification (TTQ). South African Sherco rider made a strong statement and showed some muscle by coming home with P1 for the day. Rd 4 of the Romanian Hard Enduro Championship 2021 season, Ditrocks Hard Enduro took place in the town of Ditrau, 16-18 July 2021. With some international appearances including Teodor Kabakchiev and Suff Sella along with the Romanian national Jozsa Norbert Levente the racing weekend witnessed great battles. Racing weekend started with the 15km endurocross style prologue and Teodor was the one who set the best time for the day. He was followed by Jozsa Norbert and Suff Sella. Off-road Day 1 featured an 85KM single track and Day 2 with another 50KM to cover. In the end Jarvis Racing Team rider Teodor Kabakchiev won the race and his podium companions were same as the prologue results. Jozsa Norbert came in P2 and Suff Sella P3. FIM’s World Hard Enduro Championship 2021 season Rd 3 Abestone Hard Enduro took place in the beautiful Italian ski resort Abetone, 9-11 July 2021. With all the world’s best extreme enduro riders’ appearance this first ever Abestone edition was a hit. Race weekend started with free practice and time practice on Friday. Then we jumped into the Saturday’s special tests where the riders to take 3 tests and get the best possible time for Sunday’s starting order. After Saturday’s special tests the top 50 qualified for the Super Final on Sunday. The rest of the riders to compete the Mitas Final in the morning where they had to ride 2h plus 1 lap through a 7KM lap. The event was fairly easier and started at 08:00 am. Balkans Extreme Enduro Championship’s 2021 season opener Extreme Enduro Fenix took place in the beautiful town of Kresevo, Bosnia-Herzigovina. Not having any factory teams and their riders Kevin Gallas was the hot shot of the whole week. Racing weekend started with a superenduro event on Friday and then continued with an enduro test on Saturday which had 4 specials in it. Sunday featured the Extreme Test through the Bosnian wilderness and the track was harder than expected with a couple technical sectors in it. In the end Kevin was the fastest to reach chequered flag in 1:47:40.319. Enduro Panaroma, AKA "Romaniacs Jr" came to an end and we have a local hard enduro hero on top of the podium. After 4 days of racing and extreme moments Josza Norbert Levente finished it on top. The action at the British Extreme Enduro Championship moved to Cowm Quarry for Round 2 on the 15th of May. Unlike Round 1 we had last season’s champion Billy Bolt back on the starting line. Cowm Quarry’s known rocky surface and technical hill climbs became even trickier with heavy rain during PM race.   Rockstar Husqvarna’s reigning champion (BEEC 2020) Billy Bolt made his season debut with a clear victory over the round. After a tough 2h30m run he was the only rider to complete 12 laps.   Team Steer (Sherco) rider Joe Deakin came in P2 and Jarvis Racing rider Jonathan Richardson P3.   Round 1 Extreme Ravines winner and the overall leader William Hoare finished the race with P4.   Post Race Comments Billy Bolt “Very nice racing today. It was good practise especially after last weekend riding in the mud and it is nice to be back in England. No real mistakes. Because I didn’t walk the track, I just kept it steady for the first couple of laps and then pushed on till the end.” Jonathan Richardson “The race in general was good Today. I had a bad start and felt down to P9 I guess. At the first couple of laps, I was like chilling and then I got get going, started to recover the positions. Towards the end I was getting lap times close to Billy. ACU’s British Extreme Enduro Championship kicked off with Round 1 Mini Ravines past weekend. Missing factory riders was sad but still the starting grid for Pro Class was exciting especially with team Jarvis Racing.   The course was a 30km loop. Clubmen, Sportsmen/Veterans and Youth run for one lap, Pro, Expert and Elite Veterans for two.   PM Race witnessed a great challenge between William Hoare and Jonathan Richardson. The two were in a battle for the lead and it went back and forth between the two. In the end it was William Hoare who passed the chequered flag. Jonathan Richardson came in P2 and Teodor Kabakchiev P3.   MINI RAVINES PODIUM P1 – William Hoare P2 – Jonathan Richardson P3 – Teodor Kabakchiev   Important Note: Becasue UK imposes mandatory quarantine for ten days we decided not to go but hire professionals to do the job for us. Not the best outcome we expected but still we had something to serve to our beloved audience.
