Oxbow Maverick Box Opening - https://youtu.be/AJHfykQMEX0

We started out our dirt bike riding trip on a 2019 KTM 300 XCW TPI that has a headlight and a 2018 Yamaha YZ250X that doesn't have a headlight.

We started riding right before it got too dark to see. Sam rode the KTM with its headlight for a little while to see what it was like before riding with the Oxbow Maverick Helmet light and the KTM headlight.

The Oxbow Maverick Helmet Light isn't as bright as the Oxbow Voyager Helmet light but both of these helmet lights would be great for dirt biking, mountain biking, or snowmobiling at night.

Once it was really dark it was quite amazing to turn on the Oxbow Voyager and the Oxbow Maverick helmet lights and watch the trail light up. You really could ride as fast as you wanted with these helmet lights.

However, if you wanted a Helmet light for racing the Oxbow Voyager Helmet Light is the best choice. The Oxbow Maverick is bright but it doesn't last nearly as long because the Oxbow Voyager Helmet Light has a larger Lithium Ion battery.

The Maverick Oxbow Helmet light is an actual flashlight. Which doesn't have a cord that attaches to large Lithium Ion battery pack. The Maverick Oxbow has a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery but its just smaller and on the high setting only last an hour.

The Voyager Oxbow Helmet Light on high beam last for 3 hours!!. The Oxbow Voyager light has 2100 lumens.

Both Lights are solid lights and I would get both of them to be honest. I would ride with the Oxbow Voyager and keep the Oxbow Maverick as a back up or for emergencies.

Do not get stuck out in the dirt when your dirt biking. The Oxbow Voyager is a top of the light helmet light that can be used for High speed racing and general trail riding. The light is for those who love to ride at night or even those who get caught riding at night.

Small and compact to easily become part of your normal tools and gear you ride with. Can be mounted just about anywhere with the GoPro mounts. It does come with a few GoPro mounting plates if you don't have any.

It will last up to 3 hours on the highest beam setting but if you are worried about it just by another battery pack from Oxbow.

The incredibly bright Voyager helmet light is the smallest, lightest, and baddest helmet light of them all. If you’re ready for some serious lumination, then this is the light for you. Designed for the extreme night riders of the world, the rechargeable 8800 mAh lithium-ion battery will run at full power for over 3 hours. Our optics provide a nice, wide and even beam pattern that prevents the “tunnel vision” effect that competitor lights often produce. Weighing in at just 2.1 ounces, you won’t even be able to feel this light on your helmet.

The Voyager light uses the GoPro® mounting system, making it easy to mount the light anywhere you want (helmet, handlebars, number plate, etc). If you are wearing the light on your helmet, we recommend carrying the battery in a backpack with the provided 4′ of cord. The waterproof battery also comes with an insulated neoprene pouch with a velcro strap for attaching to your handlebars. The Voyager can be used as either a helmet light or as your primary dirt bike headlight, as it will easily outshine any stock lighting.

There are three power settings; low, medium, and high. The lithium-ion batteries allow the light to stay bright throughout the duration of the battery use. The Voyager comes with 4 battery power level indicator lights, allowing you to always know the range of your remaining battery power.

Perfect for dirt biking, snow biking, snowmobiling, ATV’s, skiing, enduro riding & more.</a>
