We started out our dirt bike riding trip on a 2019 KTM 300 XCW TPI that has a headlight and a 2018 Yamaha YZ250X that doesn't have a headlight.

We started riding right before it got too dark to see. Sam rode the KTM with its headlight for a little while to see what it was like before riding with the Oxbow Maverick Helmet light and the KTM headlight.

The Oxbow Maverick Helmet Light isn't as bright as the Oxbow Voyager Helmet light but both of these helmet lights would be great for dirt biking, mountain biking, or snowmobiling at night.

Once it was really dark it was quite amazing to turn on the Oxbow Voyager and the Oxbow Maverick helmet lights and watch the trail light up. You really could ride as fast as you wanted with these helmet lights.

However, if you wanted a Helmet light for racing the Oxbow Voyager Helmet Light is the best choice. The Oxbow Maverick is bright but it doesn't last nearly as long because the Oxbow Voyager Helmet Light has a larger Lithium Ion battery.

The Maverick Oxbow Helmet light is an actual flashlight. Which doesn't have a cord that attaches to large Lithium Ion battery pack. The Maverick Oxbow has a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery but its just smaller and on the high setting only last an hour.

The Voyager Oxbow Helmet Light on high beam last for 3 hours!!. The Oxbow Voyager light has 2100 lumens.

Both Lights are solid lights and I would get both of them to be honest. I would ride with the Oxbow Voyager and keep the Oxbow Maverick as a back up or for emergencies.
