In this video I'm teaching my friend how to snowboard and how to start linking his snowboard turns together. This is Chris's second day snowboarding and he has so far learned how to skate, get off the chairlift, heel slide, toe slide and do a single snowboard turn. Today the goal is to get Chris linking his snowboard turn so he can turn down the entire run in control. If you have any beginner snowboard questions you can leave them in the comments section. Thanks for watching!

In this beginner snowboard video I've got some tips to progress from beginner to intermediate snowboard turns. There a few key differences between beginner turns and intermediate that I'll highlight for you. The most important key is how you spray snowboard in beginner turns compared to how you spray snowboard in intermediate turns. With beginner snowboard turns you spray snow downhill, where in intermediate turns you spray snow more to the side. For more beginner snowboard videos check out the beginner snowboarding playlist. There are dozens of snowboard tutorials and tips to help you progress. Thanks for watching!

In this video I've got a few tips on how to avoid catching your snowboards edge. If you are a beginner snowboarder learning to make your first snowboard turns then catching an edge is one of the things that can be hard to avoid. The first thing you can do as a beginner snowboarder is choose an area to learn that is green and mellow. This will give you the confidence to go for your first snowboard turns. The second beginner snowboard tips is to take you time making your turns. A lot of time you can catch your snowboards edge when trying to do beginner turns to quickly. Finally make sure your shoulders and hips are square to your snowboard. This will make your beginner snowboard turns feel more balanced and help you avoid catching your edge. For more beginner snowboard video check out the playlist at the end. Thanks for watching!

In this snowboard video Gill and I have our first day snowboarding in Stevens Pass, Washington. Our first stop is at the Evo snowboard store in Seattle to pick up some new Adidas Samba snowboard boots. Then we head to our cabin in the woods about 20 minutes from Stevens Pass Washington. Our first day of snowboarding was an adventure discovering all the new runs and chairlift at the resort. Also attempting to navigate the new resort in a snow storm with deep and heavy powder to snowboard through. Over Gill had a fun day of snowboarding and we'll be back again tomorrow to discover more areas at Stevens Pass. Big shout out to all the employees and friends of the channel who made this day extra special!

In this beginner snowboard lesson I've got three tips for strapping your board on for the first time. This will give you a solid beginner snowboard base to progress from. The first thing is to find out which is you front foot on your snowboard. Finding out which one is your front foot will only take a few moments and get you setup for snowboarding. The second tip is to strap up you front foot in a flat area. If you bindings straps don't fit take a few minutes to adjust them to the right size. Finally learn to skate around with one foot into your snowboard. Learning to skate will get you to and from the chairlift and across flat areas of the resort. For more beginner snowboard tips check out the full beginner snowboard playlist. Thanks for watching!

In this beginner snowboard video I talk about how long it takes to learn to snowboard. There are a few snowboard skills to learn as a beginner and if you take the time to learn each one you'll progress quickly. Most new snowboarders on their first day can learn to skate, ride with one foot, slide and their heels and toes, and maybe attempt a beginner turn. Depending on your back ground in board sports it may take you less or more time to learn to snowboard. Remember that everyone learns to snowboard at their own pace and its more about having fun and being safe. If you have any beginner snowboard questions you can leave them in the comments. Also share this video with any new snowboarders who are learning for the first time. For more snowboarding videos make sure to subscribe. Thanks for watching!

In this beginner snowboard video I've got some tips to help you link your first turns together. Linking your first turns is one of the last things to learn as a beginner snowboarder. Before linking turns you first want to be able to complete singe heal and toe turns. The key to linking your beginner snowboard turns together is to allow your snowboard to run across the slope at the end of the turn. Once you let your snowboard to run across the slope you can then link into the next turn. For more beginner video for tips and tutorial check out the playlist at the end. Thanks for watching!

In this video I've got five beginner snowboard tricks you can practice on the flat ground. These five tricks will build the snowboard skills you need to progress on to more tricks. The first beginner trick is the tail press. For the tail press the key is to move your hips over your snowboard. The second beginner trick is the nose press. To help you get into the nose press try to reach your front hand down in front of your snowboard. The next two snowboard tricks are the front and backside 180. The best tip for 180's is to get a good pop into the air off of your snowboards edge. The final trick is the butter spin. For beginner snowboarders this is a great first butter because you can practice it on the flat ground. For more snowboarding trick tutorials and tips check out the playlist linked at the end.
