In this video I've got a few tips on how to avoid catching your snowboards edge. If you are a beginner snowboarder learning to make your first snowboard turns then catching an edge is one of the things that can be hard to avoid. The first thing you can do as a beginner snowboarder is choose an area to learn that is green and mellow. This will give you the confidence to go for your first snowboard turns. The second beginner snowboard tips is to take you time making your turns. A lot of time you can catch your snowboards edge when trying to do beginner turns to quickly. Finally make sure your shoulders and hips are square to your snowboard. This will make your beginner snowboard turns feel more balanced and help you avoid catching your edge.
