Today we're snowboarding in the Blackcomb terrain park and Chris is working on getting back into snowboard jumps and grabs after many years out of the park. Our goals for the day are to get confident with hitting all the jumps in the park and to get a few grabs. To start the day we did a couple warm up laps snowboarding and hitting side hit jumps and the small jumps in the park. The snow today is soft which is perfect for hitting side hit jumps outside the park. The key for progressing safely on jumps is to build your confidence on small jumps before taking to the larger ones. Chris followed me off some larger jumps to get the speed right for making the landing. He also started to get some snowboard grabs once he felt balanced and confident on the larger jumps. We also had a chance today to meet some fans who were practicing their snowboard skills in the park as well! Thanks for watching! For more tips check out the snowboard trick playlist!
