Switchback horizon leveled reverse on-ride POV ZDT's Amusement Park

Duration: 2:13 Views: 9.5K Submitted: 3 years ago
Description: Unlike the usual on-ride videos we post (link below), this time we kept the camera level with the horizon throughout the ride for a slightly different Point Of View.
Inspired by the classic Switchback Railway in Coney Island, this first-of-its-kind Gravity Group wooden shuttle coaster packs quite a punch into a very small footprint.
It's 58 foot (17.7m) drop sends riders over an airtime hill at 40 mph (64 km/h) and under a former grocery store archway around a 104° over-banked curve back through the building over another airtime hill and up a 63 foot (19m) 87° spike into the sky. Then you do it all again backwards!
