The seventh installment of our Morton Buildings Team Spotlight video series focuses on “The One-Man Band,” Dennis Erb Jr! Traveling up and down the road almost every weekend with what could very well be the smallest team the World of Outlaws has ever seen, Erb and Crew Chief Heather Lyne have their own system and they execute well.
Known around the Dirt Late Model pit area as one of the hardest-working duos with a dog, Erb has had a great first season as a World of Outlaws regular. Lyne compliments Erb’s D-I-Y style well and can frequently be seen wrenching away underneath Erb’s blue #28 when she’s not at her full-time job, working for a defense contractor. She says it’s all a matter of balance and prioritizing, learning to shake off bad nights and move on to the next race. With Erb’s veteran experience behind the wheel, they have always been a threat to win every year, especially around home in Illinois.
