The ninth installment of our Morton Buildings Team Spotlight video series focuses on the 2015 World of Outlaws Champion, Shane Clanton!
Beginning 2019 behind the wheel of his trademark yellow/black/orange #25 for father-in-law Ron Davies, Clanton got the opportunity to drive for Decorah, Iowa-based Skyline Motorsports just before the midway point of the season and took it. A fellow Capital Race Cars team owner, Greg Bruening has made a great owner-driver partnership with Clanton, and "The Georgia Bulldog" has since returned the favor more than once.
Winning three times on tour since taking over the Skyline reins, Clanton has often been quoted thanking his crew members for their efforts to improve the team. In the team swap, Clanton brought in one of his own crew members and joined forces with two of Skyline's own, making for one of the most diverse yet experienced groups on the Dirt Late Model circuit.
