Isak Heartstone is one of 150 wooden trolls across the world, made by Danish artist Thomas Dambo of recycled wood. Isak has had an up and down and now back up again journey since his arrival in Breckenridge, Colorado. He was first introduced to us here back in the summer of 2018 and he grew large attention from locals and tourists. But not all loved the arrival of Isak as his spectators (in the tens of thousands) were disturbing the peace of the near by quiet Wellington neighborhood. So that November of 2018 Isak was voted by the town council to be removed and put into hibernation until they could find a new camp for him.
In May of 2019 Isak Heartstone got a new home where he now camps out at. He get's the last name "Heartstone" because the artist, Thomas Dambo, has placed a heart shaped rock inside his chest.
So with that said come along with me as we search for Isak and his new home here in Breckenridge, Colorado! I asked my father, who is an amazing man, musician and CGP, if he could write a song for Isak and my search to find him in the woods. And he nailed it! Thanks Dad!
