Description: The News are full of one extremely sad message: Ken Block is dead. I can't express by far how sad I am about Ken Block's death. He managed to connect, inspire and enlarge car & motorsport lovers all around the globe. Its fair to say, that pretty much every carlover out there is feeling with his friends & family. My sincerest thoughts & condolences go out to Ken's family & friends. According to the news Ken Block died in a snowmobile accident near Utah. Because I have the feeling that typical news and newspapers always add something to the real story I have decided to make a short but 100% objective and transparent video for all those who want to know what has happened. So here is what we know according to an official report of the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office: On January 2, 2023 at approximately 2:00 p.m., the Wasatch County 911 Center received a call reporting a snowmobile accident in the Mill Hollow area. Search and Rescue, along with law enforcement from Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, Utah State Parks and the U.S. Forest Service responded. The driver, Kenneth Block, 55-year-old male out of Park City, Utah, was riding a snowmobile on a steep slope when the snowmobile upended, landing on top of him. He was pronounced deceased at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident. Mr. Block was riding with a group but was alone when the accident occurred. The State Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the official cause of death. We are saddened to hear of the loss of Kenneth and our hearts are with his family and friends so deeply affected. We thank all of our first responders for their continued service. Ken Block was a professional rally driver and the co-founder of Hoonigan, a motor racing team with an extremely well-known and successful YouTube Channel where they produced the most insane Car drifting videos on the planet. Ken Block won five X Games medals in rallyecross. Hoonigan released a statement on Instagram confirming Block’s death. They said: It's with our deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident today. Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband. He will be incredibly missed. Please respect the family's privacy at this time while they grieve. What also shocked me, was to see that just 14 hours earlier Ken Block posted a few Instagram Stories about a Sketchy and snowy drive with some great snowboard entertainment from his Audi e-tron. Showed a CanAm X3 under approximately 30 to 40 centimeters of snow and a bunch of snowy snowmobiles. Also a very good friend of him, Jean Pierre Krämer, who is the most popular Car-YouTuber of the Channel JP Performance in Germany, posted on Instagram about Ken Blocks death saying: I'm down and can't believe it! We had so many cool ideas! Thank you for being one of my real friends! All in all everything I can say is once again that I can't express by far how sad I am about Ken Block's death. He managed to connect, inspire and enlarge car & motorsport lovers all around the globe. I also want to thank Ken, because he inspired me to make my quattro extreme video a few years ago. My sincerest thoughts & condolences go out to Ken's family & friends. Rest in Peace Ken. You will always be remembered. Thank you for everything. #KenBlock
