Description: At X Games Minneapolis 2019, Ryan Williams broke the BMX Big Air curse, becoming the first person to earn a third straight X Games BMX Big Air gold after 5 athletes had tried and failed before him (Kevin Robinson, Steve McCann, Colton Satterfield, James Foster and Zack Warden). His winning pass came in Run 2: backflip drop-in to nothing front bikeflip over the 63-foot gap, frontflip flair on the quarter at 16’11”. The line scored a 93.66, in part because the backflip drop-in had never been done.

R Willy called it, “The best night of my life!” We call it BMX progression at its finest.
