Welcome to the newest addition to a long line of wild Gymkhana cars: Travis Pastrana’s 2020 Subaru WRX STI Gymkhana car, purpose-built JUST for the film. This is Travis’s first time ever seeing, driving, and sliding this car… and damn if it isn’t glorious. Another super important part? When Ken Block handed over the reins for Travis Pastrana to take over this year’s Gymkhana film, Travis knew he couldn’t just show up with any ‘ol racecar: he would need the wildest Subaru STI ever built. So Subaru Motorsports USA tapped Vermont Sportscar to do just that, putting together a Gymkhana car with absolutely no restrctions. The result? An 862hp STI that could corner, slide, and fly better than any car before it. With some special touches just for the video, of course. Our friends at BBI Autosport had a hell of a year at the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb this year… taking the WIN in Open Class and Trophy Class, and 3rd in the TA1 class. But with the race being cut slightly shorter this year, mountaintop victory donuts up top weren’t really a possibility… so of course we offered up Tire Slayer Studios as the perfect place for them to celebrate with Lucy, their wild 1,100hp Porsche GT3 Turbocup.
