Starting with a true twin shape, cam-rock profile, and mid flex, complemented by an asymmetrical sidecut and "midbite" additional conact points this board offers stability and grip on variable terrain while still being fun for jibbing and butters. I really enjoyed the versatility this board offers and believe this would be a great option for the rider who wants to ride it all, and spends a good amount of time in the park. The Basic is a true twin, all-mountain freestyle snowboard that lands on the playful side of the spectrum when it comes to flex. You will be able to get some good flex for butter and rail tricks with this snowboard, while still having decent pop and stability thanks to its camrock camber profile. It also runs Underbite Tech from YES which helps to increase edge hold on firm snow and ice. Overall I think that the Basic would be a really fun freestyle specific snowboard, as well as a fun board outside of the park for casual riding. If you aren't riding any freestyle there may be better options for you out there. He calls it OVERKILL - We call it PERFECT! Yes, There are TWO Turbos AND a Blower! By now, the whole world knows that Aussies don’t mess around when it comes to CRAZY and over the top, but this was pretty wild even for them! We caught Ben and his BADASS Boost Factory he bolted in between the wheels of a 1976 Ford Cortina! Stoked and ready to ROCK, Ben was preparing for his first Skid ever at Summernats while also hoping to break his current personal best skid of 14 seconds! Built from the motivation of being told he’d never get it to work, it was a particularly proud time as he showed off he CRAZY build! All show and PLENTY of go, this 1976 Ford Cortina laid down a nasty skid until a mechanical issue cut the run short. The Greats is a freestyle snowboard with an asymmetrical sidecut, this helps out with carving on your heelside edge. Featuring a camrock camber profile, bamboo pop rods, and a sintered base, this is a snowboard that is best suited in the park but is still fun for carving and exploring. I found that the rocker in the tips of the snowboard provide a playful feeling that made hitting rail features and pressing butters a little easier. The biggest highlight for me on The Greats is the asymmetrical sidecut and how much fun this board is on rails. I would recommend this snowboard to beginner riders and up.
