Most of the single track in Idaho up around Stanley is pretty well maintained. There are very large river crossings and steep climbs. Most of the single track around Stanley Idaho isn't for beginners. This is his first time riding single track in this part of Idaho. They call this Idaho Gold. Thanks for the crew who maintains these trails. You know who you are. The dirt was perfect and the weather was amazing. It was a little brisk in the morning but towards the afternoon it go a little hot and dusty. I was riding with my buddies Kyle and Tyler but there was also a few other gets from Tylers camp. It was great to meet up with them and go for a solid burn. We ran into snow a few times on top of the trail. There was even a section where the ground was frozen. Crazy dirt biking from June.
