I give the Turbo Diesel Go-Kart top one last shot at the Top Speed Run by using the Omax Water Jet to make a 20 tooth drive gear which came out great, then I go to an airport with a long runway where I have plenty of space, gonWido Open Throttle and give the turbo diesel all it's got....For now.... Who doesn't love a good diesel swap? Especially when it involves a lightweight vehicle purposely built to haul ass! In this case, we have a tiny little Ford Ranger, which immediately appears suspicious with some big tires, and a radiator mounted to a roll cage that protrudes through the back windows into the truck bed. Upon closer inspection, we found Cummins emblems carefully placed on the body of the truck, tipping us off and initiating a hunt to track down the owner and find out more about this crazy looking truck. When you thought you’ve seen it all…Chevy’s NEW S10 Diesel! (ok, just kidding :P ) We showed up to Streetcar Takeover’s Indianapolis event and to our surprise, saw a HUGE cloud of black smoke billowing out of this little S10… so of course we had to check it out - this falls right into our love for unique, crazy $h*t! This Chevy S10 has been transformed and gutted into what you see here, powered by a Dodge Cummins power plant! It's not pretty to most, it's not fast compared to what we usually film, but it sure is badass!! There are a lot of rat rods out there, but seeing this particular truck roll in on some HUGE 26” wheels pulling a sketchy, chopped up, patina’d-out, 40’s truck bed trailer- we knew it was worth a look. We can’t even imagine how uncomfortable the 1000 mile trip must have been during the notorious Drag Week competition.
