We flew into Denver Colorado and drove North through Wyoming on our way to The Black Hills South Dakota. This Year's rally had a lot more people in attendance. Many more to see some of the main acts who were actually allowed to preform. Freedom prevails in South Dakota and it is a great place for a motorcycle ride. Custer State Park is home to hundreds of buffalo which roam freely around the park. Budweiser is one of the main sponsors so they brought out the Clydesdales pulling the beer cart along with the promo models. We travel to Deadwood to see the Governor of the State Kristi Noem in the annual Legends ride from Deadwood to the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis. Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota participated in this years ride but not before they raised a bunch of money for charity in an auction where all of the proceeds go to helping victims of human trafficking. They Auctioned off an Indian Motorcycle, a few paintings and an American flag. We drive to Needles highway up to Sylvan Lake. I'm snowboarding today with my friends Andreas and Brent who have both brought their Orca powder snowboards up today. Brent was the first in line and we joined him shortly after at 5:45 AM. Being first on a big powder day means we get to snowboard the untouched powder that fell the night before. On this day the snow continued to fall making the last run of the day even deeper. Snow has been falling all day here bringing a good amount of powder to the tree runs. I'm searching for some of the best tree runs for these early season powder conditions. Mud trucks, Jeeps, ATV's, Rock Crawlers and other custom off road vehicles come from all over the country to get muddy at Bricks Off Road park in Poplar Bluff Missouri. Because of Social distancing measures some of the regularly scheduled events had to be changed while others went on as planned. They had a beater car rally where people buy really cheap cars and decorate them for a race around the Trucks only arena. Afterwards the Mega Trucks put on a show. The Slough event was cancelled but trucks still went through independently. We drove over 1000 miles (14 Hours) to get there we had a lot of fun. Overnight we got a significant snow fall which has filled in a lot of the tree runs making them accessible for snowboarding. After a long process of getting up the mountain we explored some of the trees and pillows toward the peak to peak gondola. Here we found some of the best powder lines through the trees and even a few pillows to drop off of. Today I was riding my Lib Tech Orca snowboard which helped me float over some of the deeper snow. Plant Bamboo in Okeechobee Florida has some of the best mud in the country. This thick dark mud never runs dry down here in the swamp. The ATV and side by side bounty hole was too filled with water. So the big Diesels too a crack at it. Some got stuck while the biggest ones made it through with ease. More epic mud footage coming soon. I think the fastest truck made it through the hole in 17 seconds. Cruising in the boat from Davis Islands boat ramp near the marina to Beer Can Island AKA Pine Key. New owners purchased the island for $63,000 and wanted to keep the island open for everyone to use. decided park their Tiki Hut boat there for its permanent home. they brought out a bunch of portable toilets, and garbage cans. This Island located off of Apollo Beach has been a long time camping and weekend hangout for boaters. Apparently there is a big concert party this weekend. Be sure to check out Caroline's Channel. It's been snowing here the last few days which has resulted in a few inches of snow in the trees and gullies though out the resort. I'm snowboarding today with my friends Garrett and David. It was surprisingly good in the trees, with lots of fresh light snow to find despite not being very deep. The TRS was a lot of fun in these condition and is a capable all-mountain snowboard. The biggest highlights of the TRS for me are how versatile it is and how well that magne-traction grips. I was able to hold a strong edge on icy parts of the groomers and had full control even when breaking through the powder to the crusty icy snow underneath. The TRS also has some good stability to offer once you reach the end of its rocker dominant profile, I would rate the flex around a 6/10. The best way to watch this 360 snowboard video is on you smart phone. Turn your phone in all directions to get the best view of the mountains and snowboarding. In this 360 video I take my friends down some of the scariest runs I could find around Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. The first run we hit the wind lip on 7th heaven and riding through trees. Next I took them to the top of mountain and down Big Bang, which is a steep double black diamond.
