In recent videos I've progressed with jumps and 180's and I want to continue the park progression with 360's. I'm also working on some other snowboard tricks in the park today including tail grabs and boards slides. The key skills for getting the 360's back is first getting a clean carve up the takeoff on an edge, popping straight into the air and creating enough rotation to get the spin around. In the last video I progressed with jumping in the terrain park and today I'm adding 180's on the jumps. 180's are the first spin you want to learn on you snowboard and can be practiced anywhere on the mountain. We made it to Zermatt, Switzerland which is one of the only places to ride that has a terrain park. We're heading up the mountain and going to check out the terrain park setup and the border cross track beside the park. The board cross track was a great place to get warmed up and get our snowboard legs back on. The park setup was also great with lot of jump, boxes and tubes to progress on. What makes this places open for snowboarding all year round is the massive glacier and the high elevation. The elevation of the snowpark in Zermatt is 3800 meter or 12700 feet. This is my first time snowboarding in the terrain park since March and my wife Gill first time summer snowboarding. The terrain park setup here in Zermatt is a mix of small, medium and large features. The mix of features has been great for getting back some of my snowboard tricks. The highlight of the terrain park has to incredible views here in Switzerland with the Matterhorn being the most incredible mountain peak. If you're looking for a place for summer snowboarding I'd highly recommend the snowpark here in Zermatt, Switzerland. 3-15-2020 Breckenridge, Colorado This is an insane time right now. The Coronavirus is spreading rapidly and everything that involves people gathering is shutting down and getting cancelled. The ski resorts across America have all closed, but who's to say you can't walk up the hill? A couple homies and I grabbed backpacks, a lil sunscreen and water and hiked on up to the park! This may be my last day on a snowboard this winter. I sure hope it isn't... but if it is, it is a fantastic day to end on! Big shout out to Taran for filming all of these clips with me!
