It’s no LSx Willy’s and that’s no problem for us, we love the uniqueness and how this badass Jeep commands our attention to it! Not much has changed on this consistent 10 second twin turbo LS jeep except some simple maintenance, stickier tires, and a lot more seat time. Running in the 10.0 index class at Wildhorse Motorsports Park, hosted by Street Car Takeover, this badass machine ran consistently all the way into the finals! When you see anything with three turbos bolted to one engine, you have to start wondering. When you find out that the Tri-turbo setup is pushing a full size diesel pickup into consistently low 9’s, you find the owner and start asking questions. 140 PSI of boost is insane, as is the amount of work put into this truck! A Chevy Blazer is a pretty common vehicle. You probably see them everywhere and don’t even give it a second thought, however you probably have never seen a Blazer quite this one. At first glance you will notice the lack of a roof and the roll cage that has taken its place, which more than likely will demand at least one double take. It is powered by 454 Chevy motor hooked up to an air shifted automatic transmission all controlled by hand… Yea, this is not your ordinary K5 Blazer. A Gen 5 Viper with twin turbos!? Yes please! The guys over at Calvo Motorsports and Powerhouse racing have created a MONSTER of a V10 Dodge Viper! Running a Motec M150 ECU and sporting twin 3795 turbochargers, this Viper is a handful! On a good day, this setup will make 900hp - that’s 255 more horsepower than stock! To top it all of, the Dukes of Hazzard livery really caught our attention! Another perfect example of a street car doing what it does best. Twin Turbos on a Junkyard motor pair well with the RoadKill theme on this old Willy’s. 661HP/805TQ send this old army Jeep down the track like a missile! Mystery junkyard motor with twin Borg Warner’s bolted to a 3000lb chassis proved to be strong competition at Street Car Takeover’s Phoenix event. This MONSTER of a 1200hp GT-R is a frequent flyer on 1320Video, and when we ran into Godzilla at Streetcar Takeover’s Dallas edition, we couldn’t help but catch up with him to see what he was up to! Turns out he decided to compete in King of the Bakery (roll racing class) AND the 9.50 E/T drag racing class. You usually don’t see a car being competitive in both of these styles of racing, but that’s clearly not the case here! When you thought you’ve seen it all…Chevy’s NEW S10 Diesel! (ok, just kidding :P ) We showed up to Streetcar Takeover’s Indianapolis event and to our surprise, saw a HUGE cloud of black smoke billowing out of this little S10… so of course we had to check it out - this falls right into our love for unique, crazy $h*t! This Chevy S10 has been transformed and gutted into what you see here, powered by a Dodge Cummins power plant!
