Today I'm on Blackcomb mountain snowboarding on a surprise powder day with my friend Chris. An are of the the mountain called 7th Heaven opened today, which gave us access to a huge area of powder trees and alpine. After snowboarding through some trees we headed to a double black diamond area of the mountain which was the steepest run I've done this season.</a>

In this video we're exploring Blackcomb mountain on our snowboards. The area of the mountain we're heading to is called chainsaw ridge and it's one of the most difficult areas to navigate on Blackcomb mountain. I'm us snowboarding today with TJ from Board Archive and it's our first time snowboarding in this zone this season. What makes this area so difficult to snowboard is the huge cornices on top of massive cliff areas. Between the cliffs there are chutes that let you snowboard into the bowl. These double black areas are places where you can't fall, so make sure you're an advanced snowboarder. In the next video we explore an area of the mountain call the rock garden where there are many drops and secret chutes. Thanks for watching!</a>

The Marhar Lumberjack has two main features that make it a unique all-mountain freestyle snowboard. First it is a very wide snowboard sitting at 276mm at the waist, this is going to allow you to lay over aggressive carves as well as make it a good option for those of you running larger boot sizes. It also features a cool technology exclusive to Marhar called sideways rocker; this is exactly what is sounds like and gives the board a more surfy feel while also making edge to edge transitions smooth and quick despite the width. The Lumberjack is a true twin snowboard so it doesn't offer much to enhance float, but this does make the board more freestyle friendly and also allows you to carve and ride switch with ease. Overall I think the Lumberjack is a fun and versatile snowboard that stands out thanks to its naturally wide waist and sideways rocker technology, let me know what you think in the comments. Thanks for watching.</a>
