This is without a doubt one of the most unique trucks we have ever come across! The motor is an LQ motor out of a 2016 Silverado and they decided to throw on some twin turbos for some power! To make things even sweeter they attached that to a 6 speed transmission from a 2012 Camaro. The cherry on top of all of this is the fact that they made it AWD using components from a TBSS! We got to witness Jeremy take it out for it’s first couple shakedown passes and this truck is going to be TERRIFYING once they work out a few small bugs. Tire Shake So Bad His BUMPER Broke Off! During the final day of 1320Video’s Rocky Mountain Race Week, the racers whom made it all the way thorough the tests and challenges of race week were ready to celebrate by turning the cars up! With the fear of not making it to the next race track gone, many of the racers decided to try their luck by shooting for their fasted pass of the week in an effort to put on a show as well as bring down their averages! Some racers made their best passes of the week, while some pushed too far ending them on the trailer sooner than intended, Out of the record 140+ cars that entered, a shocking 120 of the cars made it through the challenging week to completion, proving their cars worthy of being deemed a TRUE street car! Besides the fact that it’s entertaining as HELL to watch, its also the worlds FASTEST GM 6-speed! We bumped into him this year at Street Car Takeover - Kentucky, and were able to see some testing passes on the new turbo set up. On LOW boost, the car ran an 8.59…his record pass is an 8.3! We couldn’t help but run over to this Chevelle as soon as we saw it pull up to the first track at Drag Week 16’, with two MASSIVE turbos protruding from the hood - it was the epitome of an “eye-catcher”. FRESH off the assembly line, this guy just finished his twin 88mm turbo 1964 Chevelle that will inevitable see 2000hp or more! We were happy to hear this is a true street car that will take down anything he lines up against! Since he just got the car together, it is only on a measly 9 psi of boost. Rick is no stranger to Drag Week, but what’s cool is that not only has he built one, but now TWO badass twin turbo big block monsters to compete at Drag Week! When we met Rick, he had this same motor in his wagon and has since transplanted it into his 1990 RX-7 painted bright green. Pushing this RX-7 down the track is a 450 cubin inch big block Chevy motor with two 75mm turbochargers feeding it. This thing caught our attention immediately!
