In this video we're the first snowboarders on the mountain on a 30 centimeter powder day in Whistler. It's been snowboarding almost non stop this past week making for some of the best powder snowboarding you can get. I'm up snowboarding with my friends Chris and Andreas and between the three of us we're finding some of the best powder and tree runs on the mountain. We're all up with our powder snowboarders as well which help to make it a bit easier to navigate the deep powder snow. Thanks for watching!

In this video we're the first snowboarders in the Gondola on a huge powder day on Whistler mountain. I'm snowboarding today with my friends Andreas and Brent who have both brought their Orca powder snowboards up today. Brent was the first in line and we joined him shortly after at 5:45 AM. Being first on a big powder day means we get to snowboard the untouched powder that fell the night before. On this day the snow continued to fall making the last run of the day even deeper. Thanks for watching!

You demanded it, here it is the 2019 list of best bang for your buck snowboards. I wouldn't call these snowboards cheap, but I think that they each offer some great tech and a unique riding experience while coming in at a very reasonable price. I'm really happy with this group of boards ranging in price from $350 to $430, offering something every rider can enjoy without breaking the bank. Let me know which board is your favorite down in the comments below, thanks for watching.

In this video I take a moment to talk about the Spring Break Slush Slasher snowboard. This is a really fun and versatile board that excels at carving as well as powder performance (even though we didn't get to test it in powder). It runs a flat to rocker profile and has a directional shape. It features a taper and setback stance, as well as a longer nose outside the contact points. This will provide you with float in powder and some dampening as you ride through those choppy slush sections. It is also a really wide snowboard which makes it more fun for layed over carves, and is also helpful in the slush and for those of you with larger boot sizes. At the end of the day this is a board that's going to serve up good times any day of the season. Let me know what you think about the slush slasher in the comments, thanks for watching.

This was one of the most fun days of the Japan trip and provided perfect conditions for testing powder snowboards. The whole crew is on surf shaped powder boards, and I am testing the Spring Break Catamaran Snowboard. The first thing you'll notice is the double swallow tail on this snowboard, this creates a one-of-a-kind shape and really highlights the aesthetics of this snowboard. I rode this board is size 166 but honestly, much of the boards length comes from the cut out nose and tail, which actually doesn't effect the performance very much. Because of that this board has a shorter effective edge and feels like a shorter snowboard. The long nose does help to poke out of the powder though and keep you on top of the snow. I also found this board to have a soft flex, i'd rate it right around a 3/10; the Catamaran is very pressable and also damp through choppy terrain thanks to the nose. The combination of a rocker dominant profile, wide frame, and taper allow this board to float very well in the soft stuff. All in all I would say this is a very functional powder board that floats just a good as it looks. Let us know any questions you have down in the comments below, thanks for watching.
