It's raining in the valley of Whistler, but on top of the mountain there's over 30 new centimeters of snow. I'm up snowboarding with Andreas and Evan and we're searching for the best powder lines. After the first run we discovered that this is the deepest powder we've been snowboarding through yet this season! I'm snowboarding with my friends Andreas and Brent who are leading the way through some technical trees and hard to find areas. Today is the first day some of the high alpine section of the mountain are opening including one of my favorite spots called Spanky's ladder. This area on a powder day is incredible for doing some steep and high speed powder turn on you snowboard. The snow has unlocked some areas near Crystal chair which are some of the best trees on for snowboarding.
