The 2022 Subaru BRZ is a solid vehicle, but a stock vehicle ain’t a Hoon-spec vehicle! The Bolt-On Boys are on the case but they’re not touching the FA24 direct injection motor — instead they’re tossing on fresh TSW Wheels, Falken Tires, SPARCO seats, tiny Antigravity Battery, a beautiful V-shaped Neo exhaust from Magnaflow, and some sweet coilovers from BC. The only way Matt could could improve his stock “Terminator” Cobra Mustang engine was slapping a 3 liter Whipple supercharger on it! He also ported some fancy airflow tricks he picked up competing in time attack. Meanwhile Cory took his Scion FR-S and dropped in a Ferrari engine out of a Maserati Quattroporte, and that was just the start. This Frankenstein has parts from a Chevy Camaro, an Audi, GM… plus a dry sump system, all done in-house. But who’ll get down the strip faster? And more importantly, who does better donuts?? We always say this is the epitome of THIS vs THAT but this time… IT LITERALLY IS! We have a REAR WHEEL DRIVE Honda Civic VS a FRONT WHEEL DRIVE Honda Civic! Our friends at @throtl brought out their insane K20A2 powered Honda Civic EK Hatchback EK9, the wildest part about it is they converted it to RWD WITH air conditioning. This thing is covered in carbon fiber and weighs almost nothing. On the other side of the strip we have Royer’s super clean and super well built Honda Civic Hatchback EG6. This one is still FWD and he swapped a stroked and supercharged B18C1. Let’s find out if the Honda Civic should have come FWD or RWD from the factory. This car is straight fire! Frankie Tru's '86 Buick Regal T-Type decided that v6 life wasn’t the life for it, so naturally it released the rods from the block which gave Frank the Tank the opportunity to drop in a fully built Supercharged LS engine making a little over 1200hp. Why stop there? With power comes responsibility so he went on to install a custom Camaro front-end for the much better handling that comes along with it.
