We're discovering that there are many hidden powder stashes between the trees of almost every run. The snow has also not stopped falling since we've arrived which has made for bottomless powder snowboarding. I head up one of the steeper chairs here at Stevens Pass and meet up with Asia one of the locals here. We snowboard down a steep black diamond run that is filled with bottomless powder snow. The stand out here at Stevens Pass besides the powder and terrain is the welcoming people who make the resort feel at home. Our first stop is at the Evo snowboard store in Seattle to pick up some new Adidas Samba snowboard boots. Then we head to our cabin in the woods about 20 minutes from Stevens Pass Washington. Our first day of snowboarding was an adventure discovering all the new runs and chairlift at the resort. Also attempting to navigate the new resort in a snow storm with deep and heavy powder to snowboard through. Over Gill had a fun day of snowboarding and we'll be back again tomorrow to discover more areas at Stevens Pass.
