In this video I'm teaching my friend how to snowboard and how to start linking his snowboard turns together. This is Chris's second day snowboarding and he has so far learned how to skate, get off the chairlift, heel slide, toe slide and do a single snowboard turn. Today the goal is to get Chris linking his snowboard turn so he can turn down the entire run in control. If you have any beginner snowboard questions you can leave them in the comments section. Thanks for watching!</a>

I haven't spent much time in the terrain park this season because of all the stormy powder days we've had here. This is my first day snowboarding in the park this season and working hitting all the jumps in the park. My main focus is getting the speed right on my snowboard to get enough air and also bending my knees in the air to stay balanced.</a>

In this video I break down one of my favorite tricks inspired by pro snowboarder Halldor Helgason. This is definitely a trickier butter to get down as it involves combing several more advanced tricks all into one. You'll want to practice your nollie backside 180's, switch nose press hopping to tail press, cab 180, cab 360, and switch backside 180 before trying this one. Having a softer flexing snowboard will also make this trick easier to learn. I think the most difficult parts are the switch nose press, and the switch backside 180, but by learning all of these tricks it will help you with your overall board control and separating your upper and lower body which can be useful in the park. Once you get this one down it feels really good and is a really fun trick. I hope to see you guys throwing this one down as you cruise around this season, let me know what you think about it in the comments below. Also, if you don't know who Halldor Helgason is, go check out some of his video parts that are on YouTube! Thanks for watching.</a>
