Today we're snowboarding with a huge crew of fellow Youtubers with Casey Willax, David Jones, Board Archive, Andreas Schubert and Daly Wear. This is our first time snowboarding with such a massive crew and the stoke level was super high. We got some decent tree runs and ran into one of the scariest moments we've had here yet snowboarding in Japan. This will be my first cornice drop in Japan on my snowboard and TJ hit this area a few days ago. Following the cornice drop there are open fields of powder and many powder pillows to drop off. This will be my first time exploring this zone in Hanazono Japan and it was worth the hike to find the cornice drop and powder pillows. We attempted this hike last year but failed at reaching the summit with our snowboards. This time around we're hiking the volcano with snow shoes and getting an early start, so hopefully we can reach the summit. If we can manage to summit the mountain we'll have one of the most incredible rides down snowboarding through powder and pillows.
