In this video I'm teaching my friend how to snowboard and how to start linking his snowboard turns together. This is Chris's second day snowboarding and he has so far learned how to skate, get off the chairlift, heel slide, toe slide and do a single snowboard turn. Today the goal is to get Chris linking his snowboard turn so he can turn down the entire run in control. If you have any beginner snowboard questions you can leave them in the comments section. Thanks for watching!

In this video I'm teaching my friend how to snowboard for the first time. He's visiting Whistler and has skiied for years but never tried snowboarding. Before taking to the mountain I need to get him set up with all the proper snowboard gear. I've got most of the gear he needs but we head into the Circle in Whistler to buy new snowboard boots. With all his gear ready he'll be all set for snowboarding on beginner slope tomorrow.

In this video I'm snowboarding in the Blackcomb terrain park and I've got a few tips to learn 2 easy snowboard tricks. The first snowboard trick is a frontside shifty on a small jump. The frontside shifty is a easy trick to learn on a small jump and you can practice it outside the park on the runs first. Another easy snowboard ticks is the backside board slide. This trick has the same movement as the front shifty and is easy because you don't have to fully commit. If you have any questions about these snowboard tricks you can leave them in the comments. Thanks for watching!

In this video I'm snowboarding in the Blackcomb terrain park and progressing with board slides and larger jumps. This week in Whistler it's been sunny and cold which has been great for snowboarding and learning tricks. Today I'm focusing on getting my board slides locked in with more confidence and on more features. In this video I'm snowboarding in the Blackcomb terrain park and working on getting my 360's back on small jumps. In recent videos I've progressed with jumps and 180's and I want to continue the park progression with 360's. I'm also working on some other snowboard tricks in the park today including tail grabs and boards slides. The key skills for getting the 360's back is first getting a clean carve up the takeoff on an edge, popping straight into the air and creating enough rotation to get the spin around. If you have any questions about 360's or any other snowboarding tricks you can leave them in the comments. Thanks for watching!

In this video I'm snowboarding in the terrain park on Blackcomb on working on progressing my jumps. I haven't spent much time in the terrain park this season because of all the stormy powder days we've had here. This is my first day snowboarding in the park this season and working hitting all the jumps in the park. My main focus is getting the speed right on my snowboard to get enough air and also bending my knees in the air to stay balanced.
