The first snowboard trick is a frontside shifty on a small jump. The frontside shifty is a easy trick to learn on a small jump and you can practice it outside the park on the runs first. Another easy snowboard ticks is the backside board slide. This trick has the same movement as the front shifty and is easy because you don't have to fully commit. In recent videos I've progressed with jumps and 180's and I want to continue the park progression with 360's. I'm also working on some other snowboard tricks in the park today including tail grabs and boards slides. The key skills for getting the 360's back is first getting a clean carve up the takeoff on an edge, popping straight into the air and creating enough rotation to get the spin around. In the last video I progressed with jumping in the terrain park and today I'm adding 180's on the jumps. 180's are the first spin you want to learn on you snowboard and can be practiced anywhere on the mountain. Before attempting 180's make sure you are comfortable snowboarding switch and also doing straight airs and grabs. Side hit jumps are an awesome way to get back into jump and snowboard tricks. The line that we've found has dozens of side hit jumps to get comfortable getting air on our snowboards.
