In this video I'm snowboarding in the terrain park on Blackcomb on working on progressing my jumps. I haven't spent much time in the terrain park this season because of all the stormy powder days we've had here. This is my first day snowboarding in the park this season and working hitting all the jumps in the park. My main focus is getting the speed right on my snowboard to get enough air and also bending my knees in the air to stay balanced.</a>

Today in the Zermatt snowpark I'm doing my first jump session back on a snowboard this season. There are five jumps in the park here and the left two larger jumps look perfect to session for the day. I've been watching other snowboarders hit these jumps all morning looking to see what the perfect speed is to hit these jumps. For my first day back hitting jumps I'll mostly be doing straight airs and throwing in a few shiftys, grabs and maybe a 180. My best advice for your first day back hitting jumps is to first get the speed right, bend your knees in the air, then plan your landing with a few turns after the landing to control your speed. If you have any questions about progressing with jumps in the terrain park let me know in the comments. Make sure to subscribe to see more snowboard videos here from Zermatt, Switzerland. Thanks for watching and have fun snowboarding!</a>

In this snowboard video I've got five tips to help you progress with jumping on your snowboard. Learning to jump with ollies, on side hits and in the terrain park is the foundation for learning snowboard tricks. For ollies find the sweet spot in your snowboard to snap the tail to ollie higher and in more control. When learning to jump on side hits make sure you line up your snowboard straight with the takeoff and land straight as well. On small terrain park jumps bend you knees to stay balanced in the air and keep your body square to your snowboard to land straight. Finally when attempting snowboard tricks like 180's and 360's pop evenly off your snowboard edge to get height and stay balanced. Let me know in the comments some of the tips that have help you progress with snowboard jumps. Thanks for watching!</a>
