This is a fun butter trick you can do anywhere on the mountain and I'll break it down into five parts. This way you can work on each part separately and then bring them together to get this new butter snowboard trick. The first part of this butter trick is the ollie. This sets up the trick and gets you balanced. The second part is the backside 180. When working on the backside 180 it's important to have a level takeoff and landing. The third part of this snowboard butter trick is the switch nose press. The best place to learn new presses is on easier and more mellow runs. The fourth part is the switch nollie. The switch nollie is what you'll use to help finish the butter trick. The final part of the butter trick is a cab 180. Cab is a skateboard term that means switch frontside. Once you have all these snowboard tricks mastered you can bring them together to for the butter trick. I found that this snowboard butter trick was a lot easier and I stayed more balanced by keeping my knees bent. For more snowboard trick tips check out the snowboard trick playlist. The Magic Carpet is a decent snowboard for carving and has a playful feel with what Bataleon calls a "powder twin" shape. The biggest highlight for me on this snowboard is its 3 dimensional base shape called 3BT, or triple base technology. This shape helps the board float in powder and also creates a very catch free ride. The 3BT is so catch free that I was inspired to share a few of the butter tricks you may have seen or asked about in previous review videos in a little more detail. Frontside noseroll nollie 360's. One of the best feeling buttering tricks there is. Learn it and have as much fun doing them as I do. Be able to visualize it in your mind before doing it (the edge control and upper body motion), and it'll really help.
