In this video I travel to the Union snowboard binding factory in Italy to see how snowboard bindings are made. I've owned many different pairs of Union snowboard bindings in the past including the Atlas, Strata, Force and Contact Pro models. What I think makes Union snowboarding bindings special is the combination of function and style. The factory really exceeded my expectation seeing the amount of planning and development goes into each model. I was really blow away by the number of collab bindings Union has done with other businesses in snowboarding. If you have any question about Union bindings or snowboarding in general you leave them in the comments. Thank for watching and have fun out there snowboarding!</a>

I've ridden these bindings in the past but have never tested them back to back to really try to feel the differences. To test them out we had some slushy conditions, which helped get more pressure in the bindings, and we were lapping the Pali chair at Arapahoe Basin in Colorado. This chair accesses some fun groomed and ungroomed terrain, trees, and 2 terrain parks. The Union Contact is the softest and most tweakable binding of the three, and I found the Atlas to be the most responsive. As you go up from softer to stiffer bindings you are basically trading tweakability for support and responsiveness. Let me know what you think about these bindings down in the comments, thanks for watching.</a>

The temperatures are warming up here in Whistler which will make for optimal park snowboarding and for learning new tricks. I'll show you how I change my stance over from my powder snowboard to my park snowboard. For my park stance I center my bindings so the nose and tail are the same length. I also duck out my bindings to +15 and -15. This centered ducked stance will make it much easier for switch riding. I'm also doing some trick training on the Snowboard Addiction training board. My goal for the next video is to get 10 tricks on a rail. The training board help to learn some of the movement needed for trick on your snowboard. For more trick tips check out the snowboard trick playlist! Thanks for watching!</a>
