The Barn has trampolines, foam pits and skate ramps you can use for snowboard training. They also have Snowboard Addiction tramp boards to practice snowboard tricks. TJ is practicing grabs and spins on the tramp, but unfortunately his motion sickness is stopping him from training. I set up the Snowboard Addiction training bar on a ledge two feet above a trampoline. With the extra height it allowed me to attempt some 270's on and off the of the bar. Bounce has Snowboard Addiction training boards for jump and jib training. The local pro Dean gave me some great tips to help me spin and grab on the training board. Trampoline training is a great way to work on all the snowboarding trick in the off season. The tricks I'm working on today are 360's with grabs and jib training. At Bounce Whistler they have snowboard addiction training boards for practicing grabs and jibs. The repetition on trampolines allows you to train your body and mind to know how tricks should feel. I'll show you how I change my stance over from my powder snowboard to my park snowboard. For my park stance I center my bindings so the nose and tail are the same length. I also duck out my bindings to +15 and -15. This centered ducked stance will make it much easier for switch riding. I'm also doing some trick training on the Snowboard Addiction training board. My goal for the next video is to get 10 tricks on a rail. The training board help to learn some of the movement needed for trick on your snowboard.
