The main spec you should be looking at if you have a boot size 11, 12, 13 or bigger, is called waist width. The bigger the waist width, the less chance you will have of getting heel or toe drag. These 5 boards are naturally wide and will accommodate larger boot sizes. You should also check to see if your favorite snowboard is available in a "Wide" size, indicated by a W next to the size, as that can also help to solve this issue. This is a really fun and versatile board that excels at carving as well as powder performance (even though we didn't get to test it in powder). It runs a flat to rocker profile and has a directional shape. It features a taper and setback stance, as well as a longer nose outside the contact points. This will provide you with float in powder and some dampening as you ride through those choppy slush sections. It is also a really wide snowboard which makes it more fun for layed over carves, and is also helpful in the slush and for those of you with larger boot sizes. At the end of the day this is a board that's going to serve up good times any day of the season.
