Every year the Texas Streets get CRAZIER, but there is always a handful of oddball cars that are totally unsuspecting at first. This year, this ol’ Olds (a.k.a. the Bingo Bomber) was one of those absolutely unsuspecting cars we stumbled on. When Parish got the bug, it coupled with his unwavering desire to tinker and that resulted in a truck having a power level that was, at the time, completely unheard of! Lurking around the streets while preying on modified cars (who were typical too cocky for what was about to happen), Parish could commonly be found tearing away from an unsuspecting victim at any given stop light, leaving nothing behind except black marks, hurt feelings, and confusion. Nothing seemed to motivate Parish more than the shock value of people getting simply DESTROYED by a seemingly average stock pickup truck. Gas Station Suprise! (Sleeper TURBO RX8) was exactly that, a complete and total surprise! Pulling up to the pumps of this Aussie petrol station, we saw a couple clean looking rotaries but we had NO IDEA they were even modded at all! Once the drive popped the bonnet and we saw that massive GT45 turbo bolted to that almost equal size 20B rotary engine, our jaws dropped. Talk about a serious sleeper! After the driver gave us a few bits about the car, including the fact that it looks completely stock but puts out nearly 750hp, we HAD to get a ride in it. Lucky for us the driver was willing to not only oblige our addiction, but he was willing to put on a show for us too!
