Ken Block returns to The Rally in the 100 Acre Wood in an attempt to capture his 8th win at the event. In this race we see Ken piloting a Skoda Fabia R5+, set up for the ARA's 04WD class. With very little seat time in this unfamiliar chassis, he faces stiff competition by the likes of Travis Pastrana piloting his factory backed Subaru WRX STI and Barry McKenna in a Ford Fiesta WRC. DonkeyTec Kicks A$$ and a 650hp VR6 Corrado ride along sure helped put that into perspective! After wrapping up a shop tour and an inspiring ride in a CRAZY GAD Motors built SUV, Frank literally slid us straight into another shop tour with our friends at DonkeyTec! Specializing in Volkswagens, these guys really know what they are doing when it comes to the FWD VW and VR6 platforms. While their main course is currently VW/Audi, they are looking to expand their menu out to BMW and Lamborghini’s, neither of which are simple undertakings. Judging by how tame and radical this DonkeyTec turbo VR6 Volkswagen Corrado was, we can’t wait to see what impressive feats these guys accomplish in the future on some seriously badass cars! Landing in Frankfurt, we loaded up our rental Skoda Fabio (lol it was the WORST) and let our friend and tour guide Frank take the wheel! Unlike our rental Skoda, Frank shares our passion for speed and did his best to get us into triple digits without running out of road first.
