One of the most INSANE drag racing passes we have filmed in the last 17 years. Daniel Pharris driving Andrew Alepa's beautiful Twin Turbo Corvette -vs- Brandon Pesz during the Radial Revenge event at Tulsa Raceway Park. Driver was out and OK but the car took a brutal hit. A very horrible wreck for the blown Bugzilla beetle, ending in an explosion of flames at Lights Out 8. Being the baddest radial race in the world, there are bound to be wrecks at such high speeds on such small tires. That is a deadly combination if you have a race car kick out sideways. These horrible wrecks are just part of the racing game and we hate to see them happen…but it’s a risk racers are willing to take. This pass was a complete bummer all the way around. Mike Brown in the Turbo Firebird -vs- Heath Littrell in the ProCharged Hemi Nova. The Firebird gets loose just past the finish and impacts the wall HARD sending the car into the path of the Nova which had no where else to go and ended up into the wall. Mike left with some injuries but is in good spirits and doing well. Big bummer for the Nova was it was just revamped and it was one of the first passes on the car. Jason Michalak and the Bad9er race team's bad ass 2008 C6 Corvette running 4.0's at over 190mph on 315 Drag Radials during the Texas Radial Round Up at North Star Dragway in Denton Texas. The car features a Screw Blown BAE Hemi tuned by Billy Stocklin. Hats off to the Bad9er team for running fast and also consistent as the took home the event win.
