The have an artificial Spring they created with a rope swing and slip and slide, a beach for sunbathing, a bar for drinks and multiple food options. Main acts Puddle Of Mud, Kid Rock, ZZ Top, P.O.D., Corey Taylor and more rocked the arena Stage. We ride through Full Throttle Saloon as well as the Iron Horse and Broken Spoke they usually have some friendly staff and good bands, and occasional burnout or bike show. Needles Highway and Sylvan lake atop of Custer State park is a good place to go for a hike and take in the scenery. The Black Hills are not only a majestic place to take in the sights like Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, The Badlands and Devils Tower. Black Hills Harley Davidson has a huge event with tons of show bikes and lots of vendors, accessory dealers and mobile mechanics. Copeton Dam is located around about 6 hours drive south west from my place on the Gold Coast. It's amazing the temperature difference between home and there. It was still summer when we visited the dam and yet it was cold enough to have to wear our warm coats in the mornings. We were targeting Murray Cod and Yellow Belly as a bi-catch, too. Unfortunately, nothing was biting the lures we were throwing. We are still very new to chasing Murray cod and so we have not yet got the hang of it, just like most of our fishing expeditions. Copeton is such a beautiful dam to explore especially now that they have had a tiny bit of rain to green everything up a little. Last time I was there in August 2019 the dam was at 8% during the thick of the drought. The dam level was at 14% during this video, shot in mid March 2020. I hope you still enjoyed this video even though there was no fish caught.
