I'm out snowboard today with TJ from BoardArchive, David Jones and Jenise Spiteri. The park at bear today is in great shape with slushy snow and blue skies. Each of us today our choosing some different lines in the park and attempting snowboard tricks on some of the scary features in the park. Jenise has plans to go for the middle rail on the staircase. This is one of the scariest rails in the bear park and one of the highest consequences. I'm also going for a 5050 on a gap rail that looks fairly large and intimidating. TJ is going for his first snowboard trick in the Bear terrain park since hurting his ankle a few weeks ago. Finally David is getting some of his more difficult snowboard tricks back on the rail features. Today we're snowboarding with a huge crew of fellow Youtubers with Casey Willax, David Jones, Board Archive, Andreas Schubert and Daly Wear. This is our first time snowboarding with such a massive crew and the stoke level was super high. We got some decent tree runs and ran into one of the scariest moments we've had here yet snowboarding in Japan. It's no secret that snowboarding/skiing can be an extremely dangerous sport. At most resorts the longest rail you can find is around 30ft, and that extra 10ft makes a noticeable difference. Going for tricks on longer features is a good way to show yourself that you have that particular trick on lock, it is much harder to balance a trick to the end of such a long feature. It can also be a bit intimidating to step up to larger features, so in this video I thought I would share some of the things I was thinking about while trying tricks on the 40ft down rail.
