Hank Kronk is a well known race week Veteran, and certainly no stranger to its grueling nature. Hank is the kind of racer that will pull over and ask how he can help if he see’s another racer on the side of the road, even knowing that it may add hours to the drive. The Kronk Racing fox body and trailer are a staple of race weeks and drag weeks because of this, but that doesn’t mean that Hank doesn’t encounter problems himself. In fact during this race week it seems he had more than his fair share of challenges, but they still didn’t stop him from completing the week. Rocky Mountain Race Week is a notoriously tough challenge, merited by a 1,000 miles+ journey across the midwest in a race car. Typically racers are only armed with a trailer, however these two radical rebels barely showed up with a running car! We could tell from day 1 that this ol’ four-eyed fox was going to be a car we needed to follow throughout the week. While we never want to see racers encounter issues or struggles, these two couldn’t have been happier regardless of what happened along the way. At 183 feet tall, Wildfire is the WORLD'S TALLEST traditional wooden roller coaster! It uses an all (well, mostly) wood structure and all wood track! The only steel is the "top layer" of the track which all traditional wooden roller coasters have! What makes this different from a "hybrid" is that those types of coasters use an all (well, mostly) wood structure but with a completely steel track. This ride is AMAZING!
