This event was wildly different than any rally event I've run before - with no fans or spectators - only one night of actual racing - on just two special stages repeated three times each - all based on organizers doing their best to adapt to the current state of the world and navigating local permit restrictions. The good news is that we're racing again, and these were some of the best stage roads I have driven in an American Rally event, with Alex Gelsomino and I getting quicker and quicker as the night went on, at our first rally in this new COVID-19 era! If you follow this series, you know that a BIG statement! For this episode we decided to go explore some of the geographic features around Kanab, UT like the Peek-a-boo slot canyon and old movie sets. Due to the diversity of the travel we brought out the new 2021 Can-Am Maverick x3 Max X RS Turbo R, fully kitted to adventure spec with a roof rack, windshield, Ken Block Fuel Off-Road Wheels, Toyo Open Country Tires, and Rigid Industries light pods. Ken Block: How Much Light is TOO MUCH light?

On today's episode, we use some high speed science to answer that question. I teamed up with Rigid Industries (who provided over 300,000 lumens of bolt on lighting) and took my SVC Offroad Ford Raptor to the middle of the Utah desert in the middle of the night to find out if more light = more speed! This also happens to be the very first full-look at my SVC Offroad built Ford Raptor since it’s most recent round of upgrades. We sent it out to SVC to get an all new wide-body by Fiberwerks (painted by LNC Motorsports), new reflective graphics inspired by my 2020 race livery by Troy Lee Designs, rad custom Borla Exhaust system, more suspension upgrades, a new bed cage setup, and a fabricated F9 rear-end with a locker and full float axles by Currie Enterprises. It also features my brand new “Block” signature wheels by Fuel Off-Road wrapped in 40” Toyo Tires!
