As you snowboard through different types of terrain you want to pick a turn size that will get you down the run. Smaller turn sizes on steep terrain. Medium turn shape size on more intermediate terrain. Finally long turns for flat terrain. Practicing different turn shapes will improve your snowboarding and prepare you for all types of terrain.
