During this lockdown period I'm unable to go riding but have dug out some head-cam footage I took in February. This is one of my favourite runs in all of Alpe d'Huez because it is a super long and varied piste. It starts off from the top of the Marmotte 2 chairlift and begins on the black piste Clocher de Macle. Next it joins onto Red piste Lievre Blanc, then Blue run Couloir, and comes down towards the DMC lift on Green piste les Jeux. From here it is a short skate to the top of the final Blue piste Village, which takes you all the way down to Huez at 1500m.

Let me know if you came to this video by searcing ASMR. ASMR is not something I knew anything about but I've had a few people tell me this is how they found the video, and that they found it relaxing!

Snowboarding the Infamous Tunnel Run - Alpe d'Huez - 4K

But the government has issued strict guidelines urging people not to undertake any dangerous activities, which covers everything from surfing and cycling to skateboarding and surfing. Whilst this was a bitter pill to swallow at first,I now realize that it is so as not to put any additional strain on the health services. So here is some footage I shot a few weeks ago of the infamous Tunnel Piste here in Alpe d'Huez!

The Tunnel Run is one of the steepest pistes in Europe, so steep in fact that the top section cannot even be pisted as the piste bashers can't get up there! It gets its name from the 200m long tunnel which is actually carved through the mountain from one side to the other. This makes for a really cool and unique ski run that I haven't seen anywhere else.

The snowboards you'll find on this list are going to be solid, one snowboard solutions for riding everything from groomers, trees, and off-piste as well as freestyle. They are all twinnish style snowboards with roughly a medium flex for versatility and stability without being too aggressive. I think that the Warpig and Custom are going to offer the best powder performance while the DOA and Westmark are going to be the most fun in the terrain park out of this group, however I wouldn't hesitate to ride any type of terrain on any of these snowboards. I believe that a good do-it-all snowboard is a board that feels secure and stable regardless of the terrain, and is going to offer that performance without limiting you and while putting a smile on your face. I think these 5 snowboards will do just that. Let me know what your favorite snowboard is in the comments, thanks for watching.</a>

This video is all about how the Ride Warpig snowoard performs in powder. The Warpig is a twinnish style snowboard, but has two key features that help it to float in powder. It is naturally very wide which spreads your weight over more surface area in the snow and has a long nose that helps to poke up out of the snow and keep you ontop of the powder. On hard pack this board feels like a true twin. At the end of a long day riding powder snow your leg is still probably going to be fatigued, unless you set the stance back. However, the Warpig undoubtedly offers more float than your typical twin. Let us know any questions you have in the comments below, thanks for watching!</a>

In this snowboard review video I am testing out the 2018 Ride Warpig snowboard at High Cascade Snowboard Camp in Mt. Hood, Oregon. This is a really fun and versatile snowboard with a unique directional shape. It is a volume displacement style snowboard, which means it is naturally wide and can be ridden at a shorter length. Featuring a medium flex, a set-back stance, and a small amount of taper this is a snowboard that is also going to float well in powder. I think this is a very capable snowboard for any conditions you find yourself in, and is sure to provide you with a good time. Let us know any questions you have in the comments!
