From the mind of Ryan Sheckler, this digital skate competition challenges 17 of the top pros and amateurs to deliver their best continuous line at Sheckler’s private skatepark, the SC Sandlot. Here is Ryan Sheckler’s run. On June 6-8, each of the competing skaters were given one hour at the SC Sandlot to film their best line - no music, no other skaters, and no knowledge of who else is competing in the competition. They're just stuck with their thoughts, their time limit, and James Craig, this year's official Red Bull Sōlus timekeeper and emcee. This competition format, combined with the new blood featured in this year’s roster, has resulted in the best Red Bull Sōlus to date. Ryan Sheckler has multiple lifetimes worth of experience in the world of professional skateboarding: numerous gold medals, his own TV show, standout parts for Plan B, Etnies and Red Bull, magazine covers, and even his own charitable foundation. Ryan skates for Sandlot Times, Independent, Etnies, Grizzly, CCS, Nixon, Oakley, and Red Bull. Dashawn Jordan skates for Nike SB, Toy Machine, Spitfire, Hardies, Bones Bearings, Grizzly, Thunder, and Faces Skateshop. Prepare to have your mind blown by the blind skateboarder Dan Mancina! Imagine that one day, at a young age, you're told that something was wrong with your vision. Like a race against time, each day your vision deteriorates a little bit more until one day you wake up and, like that, your sight is gone. That's exactly what happened to Dan Mancina, a skateboarder from Livonia, Michigan, just outside of Detroit. How does someone skate when they're blind? Simply put, at first, Mancina didn't. However, Mancina decided to film some random video clips of him doing things that he thought other people would assume blind people couldn't do. Four hundred tons of sand and water, frozen to almost concrete-levels of hardness. This was the material chosen to construct a giant skatepark castle on the shores of Lake Ladoga in Northwest Russia. The unusual playground was the brainchild of Kostya Andreev and Irek Rizaev. Everyone is familiar with building sand castles; fragile structures unable to withstand the returning tide. Irek and Kostya decided to build a bigger-size castle suitable for BMX riding. It took the pair quite a while to choose exactly the right location for building the park. Eventually, they selected the northern part of Lake Ladoga where they found a beach with a beautiful view and access to the water. In the winter, the air temperature is incredibly low – perfect for ensuring the sustainability of the build. Only two ingredients were used for constructing the park: sand and water. At -30 Degrees Celsius, frozen sand was very similar to concrete in its properties and provided  excellent grip. Irek and Kostya rode several truly frosty sessions and managed to demonstrate a totally stunning performance _ Experience the world of Red Bull like you have never seen it before.
