My 15-year-old daughter Lia got her drag racing license before she could even apply for her learner’s permit. Even though she’s cleared to launch the 1,400hp Hoonicorn she can’t drive herself to school! But that's about to change cuz in October Lia will turn 16 and get her driver’s license — so she’s gonna need a STREET-LEGAL daily! She used her earnings from Hoonicorn vs the World to buy this ‘80s Audi Ur-Quattro, but it needs a lot of wrenching before it’ll run again. Lia is learning firsthand how much work (and PATIENCE!) restoring and building an '80s-era rally legend is! With a 1-of-40 limited edition bodykit made in Germany by Prior Design, it’s well on its way to being a hillclimb monster! We had to make some special considerations for Brian “El Gigante” Scotto like a Sparco Pilot seat and a custom, ARA legal roll cage welded into the frame care of Rob "Chairslayer" Parsons. Hank Iroz personally souped up the inline 5-turbo, which drives the O1E S4 transmission to push power to those all-new ROC-H Rotiform wheels resting on 315 Toyo Tires. Budget Rally Car: It's So Much Worse Than We Ever Imagined BoostRodeo is building a budget rally car out of a 1981 TE72 Toyota Corolla. After lots of basic maintenance, fixing leaks and cleaning it was back on the road....for a minute... until tragedy struck. We knew that we broke an axle and after several spending several months looking we finally found a replacement. Today we are finally pulling the axle to swap in the junkyard donor, but things aren't going as planned and the damage is turning out to be so much worse than we ever imagined. We have our work cut out for us even more so than we though to get it tore down and back on the track before we miss any of the fast approaching events for the winter season.
