This rotary go kart is powered by a 1975 Hercules W2000 motorcycle and is a complete monster for this small go kart frame! In order to get this thing running and driving again we had to remake an exhaust system using a cheaper amazon muffler, we also needed to weld up a system to keep tension in the chain. This kart is also rocking the 787b Renown livery of the 1991 Le Mans car. While it doesn't seem like much, it took us hours to get everything up to spec. After it was ready to go, we took it out to some abandoned roads and really let it get up to top speed! This go cart hit a top speed of 80mph and it was absolutely crazy to go that fast so close to the ground! Thanks for watching and be sure to stay tuned for some more ripping this thing! In this video we manually tune the turbo efi go kart and MAX OUT the injector. We were able to get it to run a little on the rich side at high rpm which is exactly what we wanted! This thing is really fast now and really builds boost and pulls into higher rpm. And we can really floor it and make the most of the turbo because before we couldn't pass 3/4 throttle. There is nothing quite like this and we are way past the point of this being practical so keep in mind this is only for the fun and experience of having a turbo go kart, not to make crazy power. Today we drive the rotary shifter go cart on the street! This rotary go kart is powered by a 1975 Hercules W2000 motorcycle and is a complete monster for this small go kart frame! In order to get this thing all finished up we first needed to install a custom steering wheel and 3d printed badges. This kart is also rocking the 787b Renown livery of the 1991 Le Mans car. While it doesn't seem like much, it took us hours to get everything up to spec. After it was ready to go, we took it out to some abandoned roads and really let it get up to speed! While we were driving we unfortunately lost the clutch, we think that there was a metal ball in the clutch rod that got welded to the push rod itself. Hopefully we can find the parts we need to get this thing back on the road! Today the rotary moves under its own power for the first time! This rotary go kart is powered by a 1975 Hercules W2000 motorcycle and is a complete monster for this small go kart frame! In order to get this thing moving under its own power, we needed to add brakes, throttle, clutch, fuel system, battery box, ignition system, and a chain tensioner. While it doesn't seem like much, it took us hours to get everything working properly and doing its job. With this, towards the end of the video we were able to start this engine for the first time on the shifter kart frame and we are more than excited to get to ripping this thing! In this video we put a Turbo on the 60's go kart! What we needed to do was make a turbo manifold, oil system, and electrical system to make sure the turbo could run completely autonomously, that way when we hook it up to the engine, we would know that there were no issues on the turbo side of things. Before we began the install we filmed some awesome driving footage to get a preliminary test so we could compare before and after the turbo was installed.
